RIP Kim English

The music world has lost another amazingly talented soul. It was made public yesterday , by ways of the Nervous Music Record label’s Facebook page , of the passing of legendary vocalist and songwriter Kim English.

It was only natural that they would release this statement as she had been working and releasing tracks with Nervous Records since 1994. She has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, from the likes of Ten City , Masters at Work, Mood ll Swing and many many more. Messages of love and support have come from all over the world from fans to industry professionals alike. Everyone who had ever heard an Kim English track was immediately touched by her amazing voice and we have been saddened so much on the news of her passing.

I personally have so many of her tracks of hers on vinyl , most notably (which is one of my all time favourite soulful house tracks) ‘Supernatural’ . As my father always says ‘Life on Earth is only temporary and we should enjoy it whilst we can ’ . Her legacy will forever be cemented as one of music’s greatest vocalists and we will always remember her through her music.
